The high-octave Assembly elections across five states have come to an end and the exit polls have been released. The polls have declared that BJP will win with a clear majority in Uttar Pradesh and AAP will surprisingly win in Punjab. In states such as Uttarakhand and Goa, the polls have predicted a neck-to-neck fight between BJP and Congress and the saffron camp is expected to make a clean sweep. Delhi tops the list in plastic waste generation across the country. This information is by the CSE (Centre for Science and Environment) in their latest report titled 'State of India's Environment 2022'. Delhi generates 689.8 tonnes of plastic in a single day. CSE is an NGO that calculates the data provided by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). According to the data analysis, India produces a huge amount of plastic waste, 25,940 tonnes of plastic waste every day. Swiss Airlines To Become World’s First To Use Solar Fuel

Swiss International Airlines along with its parent Lufthansa Group have started strategic cooperation and integration with the synthetic fuel manufacturer Synhelion to use the first-ever solar aviation fuel."This will make SWISS the first airline in the world to use 'sun-to-liquid' fuel," Swiss Airlines said in a statement. Manipur recorded 76.04% voting till 5 pm on March 5 in the last phase of the Assembly elections. Some incidents of violence were reported from places before and after polling started.
