India's vaccination Drive adds another important group in its feather. This group includes children aged between 12 -14 years. Now, children between this age group will get jabs from 16th March onwards. Corbevax is the choice of vaccination for this age group. The Union Health Minister, Mr. Mansukh Mandaviya, says that "If children are safe, then the country is safe. I am happy to announce that from March 16, covid vaccination will start for children belonging to the age group of 12 -14 years". India’s Maternal Mortality Ratio (MMR) Declines By 10 Points : Deets Inside

Maternal Mortality Ratio (MMR) is the number of maternal deaths per 100,000 live births. India has shown an improvement in MMR numbers. The Ratio is 103 for the year 2017-2019 whereas in 2016-2018 it was 113. The decline in the ratio is 10 points. Not only this India is seeing a constant decline in MMR over the few years. Like 130 in 2014-16, 122 in 2015-17, 113 in 2016-18 to 103 in 2017-19. This constant decline brings great hope for attaining India's Goal of MMR at 70 by 2030. Two spacecraft under the European Space Agency’s (ESA) Vigil mission, formerly referred to as Lagrange, are going to be stationed at the Lagrangian points L1 and L5, respectively.
