The national level ‘India Water Pitch-Pilot-Scale Start-up Conclave’ has been organised by the ministry of housing and urban affairs today in the national capital. This conclave is being organized with an aim of starting communication with startups within the water sector. During the conclave, Hardeep Singh Puri, minister of housing and concrete affairs, will launch the ‘India Water Pitch-Pilot-Scale Start-up Challenge’. Through this challenge, 100 startups will be selected by the ministry, and Rs.20 lakhs will be provided to each as funding support. The production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme for the drone industry was notified by the Ministry of civil aviation in September 2021. Under this scheme, manufacturers of drones and drone components are going to be given an incentive of 20% of the worth addition made by them during the following three years. The value addition is going to be calculated because of the annual sales revenue from drones and drone components (net of GST) minus their purchase cost (net of GST).
