To Counter China, India Tests Fire Agni -P Ballistic Missile Successfully

Amid the border tension with China and in response to their test firing of a nuclear Anti-ship Ballistic Missile last year, India had successfully flight-tested a new generation nuclear-capable ballistic Missile Agni-P on Dec18. It can cover a distance of 1000 to 2000 kms. It is also reported that the Missile has been developed to target war ship of an enemy country in the Indo- Pacific. It is a small version of Agni class Missile, lightweight, and can be moved anywhere in the country as it is needed. The Missile comes with excellent storage and launching facilities. Agni Prime Missile Test Launch, A New Bookmark For DRDO

AGNI PRIME's Missile test launch is a new bookmark for India's DRDO [Defence Research and Development Organisation]. Test launch conducted on 18th December on Saturday from Odisha's Coast near Balasore. At 11 am missile took off the APJ Abdul Kalam island in Balasore. As a result DRDO's Chairman G. Sateesh Reddy quotes, "Kudos ! to the entire Agni team And you have done the country proud."
