Election 2022: One In Punjab, Two In Manipur While Seven Phases In UP; Counting Of Votes Simultaneously In All States

The Election Commission of India on Saturday announced the dates for assembly elections in five states. Chief Election Commissioner Sushil Chandra informed that polling will be held in one phase in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa, two in Manipur, and seven in Uttar Pradesh. The voting of the elections will begin in Uttar Pradesh from February 10. Vote Counting will be done in all the states together on March 10. A strict protocol will be followed during elections. Victory procession will not be allowed after the winning of candidates.
