And today the petition was heard in the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court on Thursday. A division bench of Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyay and Justice Subhash Vidyarthi dismissed the petition while hearing the case today at 2:15 pm. The petition was filed by Rajneesh Singh of Ayodhya. The petition claimed historian PN Oak's book, Taj Mahal, claiming that the Taj Mahal is actually Tejomahalaya, which was built by King Parmardi Dev in 1212 AD. A petition has been opposed by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) that seeks the Delhi High Court's direction to allow investigators to match fingerprints and pictures of the suspect with the Aadhar database to identify the accused in a murder case. The petition was filed by the Delhi Police. The provider of unique Aadhaar numbers, UIDAI, has prohibitions under the rule of law that it cannot share any core biometric information with police.
