Russia Halts Launches From French Guiana Amid European Sanctions
In reaction to the European Union's sanctions on Moscow over the invasion of Ukraine, Russia has now halted area launches from French Guiana. Dmitry Rogozin, director-preferred of Russian area employer Roscosmos tweeted, "In reaction to EU sanctions towards our enterprises, Roskosmos is postponing cooperation with European companions in organizing area launches from the Kourou cosmodrome and chickening out its technical personnel, consisting of the consolidated release crew, from French Guiana."
