Priyanka Chopra’s recently released memoir ‘Unfinished’ is making the public more eager to delve deep into her life and know her life secrets. The book speaks not only about Priyanka’s professional life but her personal life also. Since its release, Priyanka Chopra has been hitting the headlines for some unheard incidents that had happened with her in the past. In the book, Priyanka mentioned one such incident that took place during the initial days of her acting career. Priyanka Chopra revealed that she was asked to strip for a song and how her co-star Salman Khan came to rescue her.
In her memoir, Priyanka Chopra revealed that during her initial days In Bollywood, she was doing a big film and the song of the film required her to take her clothes off slowly. As the song was a bit long, Priyanka suggested to the director that it would be better if she wore more layers of clothing so that she wouldn’t be ‘down to skin way too fast’. “The director suggested me to speak to my stylist, so I called him and briefly explained the situation, then passed on the phone to the director. Standing right in front of me, the director said: “Jo bhi ho, chaddiyyan dikhni chahiyen. Nahi toh log picture kyun dekhne aayenge?,” wrote Priyanka.
After hearing these words from the director, Priyanka decided to quit the film next day. When the producer found out, she was confronted about it. Priyanka Chopra then wrote how Salman Khan came to her rescue, and intervened on her behalf. “My co-star Salman Khan, who was and is a huge star in India, understood the situation immediately and intervened on my behalf…when the producer arrived, he had a conversation with him that defused the conversation. I’m not sure exactly what he said but the producer was in a much calmer state when he spoke to me,” wrote Priyanka.
