On Wednesday night Manasi Varanasi bagged the crown of Femina Miss India Winner 2020.
Manasi Varanasi is a 23-year-old engineer from Telangana who was crowned by Miss India World Winner 2019 Suman Satan Singh Rao from Rajasthan.
As per Femina Miss India, Manasi did her schooling from Global Indian and was graduated from Vasai College of Engineering in Computer Science. She is driven very much by her curiosity. Liked to read, dance, do yoga, and listens to music in terms of her lifestyle pursuits. The Miss India winner expressed herself through Bharatnatyam and music as she was a shy kid in her childhood.
Manasi who is a financial information exchange analyst is also trained in Indian sign language. She has shared this talent on social media saying “I learned to sign because…learning makes me happy. When I started learning the language, it was mostly my curiosity driving me. But over time, as I started listening with my eyes, I started understanding the beauty of deaf culture. I hope we all work together in making society more inclusive for the deaf community”.

Leading to the Grand Finale, Manasi expressed what she learned during her time or journey of the Miss India pageant. She said, “There are ups and downs in this industry but the most important thing is to keep self-belief”.
Varanasi will be preparing next to represent India in the upcoming 70th Miss World Pageant 2021.
Manika Sheokand was crowned as VLCC Femina Miss India 2020 and Uttar Pradesh’s Manya Singh was declared as Miss India 2020 runner up. Actors Neha Dhupia, Chitrangada Singh, Pulkit Samrat, and renowned designer duo Falguni and Shane Peacock were sitting on the jury seats.
