India To Chair G20 Summit In December 2022, More Than 200 Meetings To Be Held Across The Country!!

India is achieving big success in its international politics these days under the guidance of the Modi government and another success is achieved by India. And now India is going to become the chairman of the G-20 group of 20 countries with the world’s most powerful economy on December 1, 2022. According to the information received by sources over 200 G20 meetings will be held across the country in a one-year tenure till November 30, 2023.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the summit meeting of the G20 Heads of Government will be held in Delhi on 9 and 10 September 2023. Let us tell you the G-20 is an intergovernmental organization of the world’s major developed and developing countries. This G-20 group currently includes 19 countries namely, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, America, and the European Union.

Contribution to 85% of world GDP

If we look at the collective strength of the G-20 countries, they contribute 85 percent of the world’s gross GDP. Similarly, it accounts for 75 percent of international trade and two-thirds of the world’s population resides in these countries. Therefore, it is the main forum for international economic cooperation.

India is currently included in the G-20 troika. It consists of the current president of the G20, the past president and the future president of the country. These include Indonesia, Italy, and India respectively. At the time of India’s presidency, India will form a troika of Indonesia and Brazil. This will be the first time that the troika will include three developing countries and emerging economies.
