This is what the Allahabad High Court said. He said, &#8220;The court has been flooded with the marriage certificates issued by different Arya Samaj Societies which have been<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1em;\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"plag_find active\" style=\"font-size: 1em;\" data-countername=\"plag_match_counter1\">seriously questioned during different proceedings before this court as well as by other high courts.&#8221; The said institution has misused their beliefs in organizing the marriages without even considering the<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1em;\">\u00a0genuineness of documents.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-153717 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/caravanalive.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ahc2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1031\" height=\"712\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.caravanalive.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ahc2.jpg 1031w, https:\/\/www.caravanalive.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ahc2-300x207.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.caravanalive.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ahc2-1024x707.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.caravanalive.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ahc2-768x530.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.caravanalive.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ahc2-450x311.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.caravanalive.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/ahc2-869x600.jpg 869w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1031px) 100vw, 1031px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A habeas corpus petition was filed by Bhola Singh. He alleged that the complainant (RG No. 2) is the wife of the petitioner. To prove that they were legally married, he relied upon a certificate issued by counsel for the petitioners Arya Samaj Mandir, Ghaziabad.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"plag_find\" data-countername=\"plag_match_counter4\">The court added, &#8220;Since the marriage has not been registered, therefore, only on the basis of the said certificate it cannot be deemed that the parties have married.<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"plag_find\" data-countername=\"plag_match_counter3\">In the present case, the corpus is a major and an FIR has been lodged against the petitioner by the father of petitioner No.<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"plag_find\" data-countername=\"plag_match_counter5\">2 corpus and investigation is undergoing, therefore, there is no case of illegal detention.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n\n<div style=\"font-size: 0px; height: 0px; line-height: 0px; margin: 0; padding: 0; clear: both;\"><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A marriage certificate issued by Arya Samaj alone is not valid if it is not registered in accordance with the law.
