Whose complaint has directly reached the Anti-Ragging Committee of the UGC? The victim has said that she is forced to drink alcohol and cigarettes. Failing to do so, the seniors strip her naked, take her to the hostel, and fire her with a cigarette.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">RDU Devendra Men&#8217;s Hostel of Rani Durgavati University is again in the headlines for ragging. The complaint reached to the Anti-Ragging Committee of the UGC has exposed the midnight violence in the RDU hostel. The UGC has sent a letter to the university administration and the Superintendent of Police and directed them to take concrete action against the accused while investigating the mental and physical torture of the student. Still, so far, no action seems to have been taken. The period of his torture does not stop here. At 2 o&#8217;clock, he is forcibly bathed with cold water and kept tied to a chair for the whole night. The fight that took place during this entire incident can be easily guessed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0It is reported that the Anti-Ragging Committee of UGC has taken this matter seriously. Afterwards, Jabalpur Superintendent of Police, Vice Chancellor RDU and RDU Anti Ragging Committee were sent a letter asking them to investigate the complaint point by point.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Some hostel students have opened a front against Vice Chancellor Prof Kapil Dev Mishra and other university officials to avoid coming under the scanner of significant action due to ragging complaints. To pressure the authorities, slogans are being written against them on the university&#8217;s walls, and the university administration keeps silent. Many cases have come to light in the past, but the university administration has covered it, but if any student could not tolerate this atrocity in the name of ragging. During the discussion with the media, the student leaders said that irregularities are constantly coming to the fore in the hostel; one is that there are inadequate arrangements in the hostel, while many students have been staying in the hostel for years. According to the rules, no student can stay in the hostel for more than six years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Along with ragging, the student organization has also demanded solutions to other problems.
