The size of the budget is increased by 9.86% as compared to the budget for 2021-22.<\/p>\n<p>The budget allocation for the present financial year is Rs 75,800 crores. The main focus of the budget though is on the generation of employment with almost 20 lakh jobs in five years. The budget will help in creating more and more employment, especially for youngsters. As unemployment is a huge problem mainly due to the pandemic.<\/p>\n<h2>Highlights Of The Rozgar Budget<\/h2>\n<p>As expected and seen, the education sector dominates the budget again in the Kejriwal Delhi Model. 22% of the budget goes to the education sector for the year 2022-23. Business Blasters programme to cater the private schools too. Opening of a veterinary college under the Delhi government.<\/p>\n<p>The next important sectors which take lead includes Health at 13%, Transport at 13% and sanitation &amp; water supply at 10% of the total budget. The increase if compared to the size of the money allotted to a department then Water supply and sanitation top the chart. In 2021-22 the budget was Rs 3247 crore which is now Rs 7610 crore. An increment of Rs 4336 crore with respect to the last financial year. For this, the AAP government has laid down a blueprint. As per that the employment will be generated from various platforms. The First one is the promotion and renewal of retail markets. Redevelopment of grand garment hub, Delhi wholesale shopping festivals. New startup policy, Delhi film policy, Rozgar bazaar 2.0 job portal with Delhi Bazaar online portal are some of the ideas which will be roped to generate jobs, especially for youngsters.<\/p>\n<p>Although the budget by the Delhi government on paper seems to be really commendable. As some important issues are tackled under this. But still, the focus remains to lure the people into ways where they are dependent on politicians is also very clear.
