Through this article, we will discuss the different aspects of income tax or should be abolished or is it unfair for the individuals?. Let&#8217;s start the discussion then&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DEMAND FOR ABOLISHING THE TAX<\/strong><br>The demand for abolishing the income tax is not new. There were many times people and experts have demanded to abolish the income tax and some even called this system a cruel one. The demand for abolishing the income tax also rises frequently because there are many political parties and millionaire farmers are exempted from the tax slab whereas on the other hand professionals have to pay taxes on their hard-earned money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>ASPECTS OF INCOME TAX<\/strong><br>We have two kinds of taxes one is the DIRECT TAX and the other one is the INDIRECT TAX.DIRECT tax includes income tax, corporate taxes, etc whereas INDIRECT TAX includes GST. DIRECT TAXES are deposited directly to the pocket of the government whereas INDIRECT TAXES are deposited to the pocket of government through indirect ways. The ways can be many.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/img.brainkart.com\/imagebk38\/V3kWwNZ.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Despite the pandemic hit, the curve of income tax has shown an upward swing even higher than the government&#8217;s estimates. According to many reports, during the last fiscal year, India collected about Rs 9.4 lakh from the corporate houses and individuals informed of direct taxes for the government&#8217;s treasury. This itself is evident how the much larger portion of government&#8217;s revenue, this direct taxes forms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.saginfotech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/number-of-taxpayers-revealed.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>SHOULD INCOME TAX BE ABOLISHED<\/strong>?<br>The direct taxes collected from corporate houses includes those profits earned from the productivity of the salaried class people. corporate houses give taxes from these earnings. Many economists consider income tax on the salaried employee not at all justifying as it is the tax on individuals salary. Many economists even consider this a harsh step as it is levied on the money earned by the hard work of the employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/img\/74129894\/Master.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>If we see the government&#8217;s estimates only 1-2 percentage individuals only come into the slab rate.
