The Municipal Corporation of Kashi is preparing to set up a coal production plant of more than 200 tonnes per day at Ramna in collaboration with NTPC. According to reports Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of this plant in January that is supposed to be built at a cost of Rs 150 crore during the proposed visit of Kashi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will also be a scientific system to dispose off the residue coming out of this plant to be built in about 25 acres. To get rid of coal crisis in power generation units, this step of the government will show a new direction to the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.caravanalive.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/1436.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-138071\" width=\"838\" height=\"470\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.caravanalive.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/1436.png 651w, https:\/\/www.caravanalive.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/1436-300x168.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 838px) 100vw, 838px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Plant will be built in 20 acres<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The plant will be set up on 20 acres in 25 acres of land identified in Ramna and the waste generated during coal formation in five acres will be executed scientifically. After the successful experiment in Banaras, there are plans to establish it in many cities of the country. According to the study done in Dadri before the installation of this plant, 200 tonnes of coal will be made from 600 tonnes of waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The plant is being constructed keeping in mind the next 25 years. According to the Municipal Corporation data, 600 tonnes of garbage is generated from the city every day. After the expansion of the city, about 800 tonnes of garbage is estimated to be removed. Therefore, the capacity of the plant will be more than 800 tonnes of waste processing per day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The construction company will hand it over to the municipal corporation after operating it for two years. Municipal Corporation Executive Engineer Ajay Kumar said that the process of tender etc. has been completed for the plant to make coal from waste. The process of laying the foundation stone of the plant is underway. At present, the plan is to operate the plant in a year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.caravanalive.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/1437.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-138072\" width=\"842\" height=\"569\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.caravanalive.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/1437.png 653w, https:\/\/www.caravanalive.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/1437-300x203.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 842px) 100vw, 842px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Demo plant has been set up in Dadri<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Its Demo and Torrefaction Plant has been established at Dadri of NTPC. It has been told how it will be operated with environmental protection. Odorless: Emission and noise limit in this plant will be as per norms. The waste will pass through a leachate treatment system to prevent the discharge of harmful substances. The plant will be operated through automatic machines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Coal will be ready at six rupees per kg<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the plan of the plant, it will cost Rs. 6 to make one kilogram of coal. Whereas the price of coal in the market is many times higher.
