He argued that protesting is the opposition’s responsibility and urged his party’s officials to “focus” on their jobs. He asserted that India must become a developed nation by 2047. At the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting on Tuesday, he said those things.

“…As the Britishers came and named themselves East India Company, in the same way, the opposition is presenting itself in the name of India,” the Prime Minister said while taking a jibe at the opposition. The Prime Minister continued in a scathing attack by asserting that even terrorist groups like the “Indian Mujahideen” and the “Popular Front of India (PFI)” contain the word “India.”

In response to the opposition’s call for a discussion and Prime Minister Modi’s remarks regarding the Manipur issue, the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) held its parliamentary party meeting on Tuesday. According to Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, Prime Minister Modi reminded the BJP leaders that the opposition’s actions imply that they have determined to remain in opposition permanently for a long time.
