Tree Ambulances in Delhi
Recently, Bansuri Swaraj inaugurated the first tree ambulance in Delhi. The Tree Ambulance is an initiative by Delhi Cantonment Board marking a significant step towards protecting, treating, and preserving trees in Delhi Cantt. The aim of this initiative is to safeguard the green guardians of the city.
Most crucial work undertaken by tree ambulances is ‘surgery’ to help trees recover from infestation by termites, or other pests, which results in the hollowing out of bark from inside.
These ambulances are customised as an eco-friendly CNG-run tree ambulance. They are equipped with two water tanks, having storage capacities of 750 litres and 250 litres, and a high-pressure pump with a jetting hose. It also has space for carrying equipment, pesticides, fungicides, insecticides and so on.
Along with this initiative, Bansuri Swaraj, is seen at various events such as Anna Daan, distributing assistive aids, and wheelchairs, to achieve the aim of accessible India.
She also gets invited to various religious events. Recently, she was present at the Shri Jagannath Rath Yatra Mahotsav, organised in Shiv Vihar and WEA Quarters of Rajendra Nagar, assembly constituency.
She was also very vocal about the terrorist activities after the Pahalgam Attack, and talked about the importance of Operation Sindoor through her social media.

Whether in courtrooms or on television panels, Bansuri Swaraj continues to make her mark as a principled and persuasive voice in Indian law and politics. In 2024, she contested elections for the very first time, and defeated Somnath Bharti (AAP) by a margin of 78,370 votes.
