Guys, breaking news!!!! Netflix has confirmed yet another season for Emily in Paris. Isn’t that great!!! According to Emily in Paris’ official Instagram account, few of the cast members have begun their shooting on May 3 2021, for season 2 at St. Tropez, which is a coastal town in French Riviera. We have Lily Collins, Ashley Park and Camille Razat excited about the reunion and ready to start filming for season 2.
At the end of season 1, all their fans were left curious about how things ended between Emily and Gabriel. Gabriel was off to Normandy resulting in his relationship with Camille ending. We wonder if they patch up as Antoine decides to back up the restaurant or something starts brewing between Emily and Gabriel. We hope Gabriel gets his own restaurant. We are also rooting for Emily and Gabriel #Gabily. Don’t you want someone to look at you the way Emily looks at Gabriel?
Fans are also curious about Emily’s relationship with her boss Sylvie. Emily’s consistent efforts to impress Sylvie have paid off with her out of the box ideas. As per sources, Sylvie has sent out an email to the Gilbert group, extending Emily’s work permit at Savior. What will Emily do at Savior in the new season? I must say Emily is a source of inspiration to all her fans out there.
Here is some more exciting news about the show, Emily in Paris has been nominated for Golden Globe Awards for Best Television Series- Musical or Comedy and also Lily Collins was nominated for the Golden Globe Awards for the best performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy.
The cast shared a behind the scenes video on the official Instagram account about being excited to go back on set with everybody and to see more of Paris. It’s gonna be fun. We also want to see more of Emily’s eccentric fashion sense in season 2. Here are some glimpses from the sets of Emily in Paris season 2.
New cast members have been added to the new season. We have Jeremy O. Harris who will be playing a fashion designer who gets under Emily’s skin and Arnaud Binard makes a guest appearance as the owner of the St. Tropez nightclub. Lucien Viscount also joins the cast as Alfie, a British guy from London who refuses to blend in with the French culture.
Can’t wait to see what the new cast brings to the table. Till then Au Revoir…
