The power couple, Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar, who are all set to tie the knot on February 26, began with their pre-wedding festivities with their Haldi ceremony yesterday in Shoaib’s hometown Bhopal.
In the pictures that are going viral on the internet from their Haldi ceremony, Dipika is seen donning an all-white chickenkari suit, beautifully teamed with an authentic yellow dupatta to match with the theme of the Haldi ceremony. Shoaib too kept it minimal and simple by wearing a white vest along with a pair of denims.
The ceremony was attended by Dipika and Shoaib’s close friends and family members. Accompanying the two in the celebrations was also seen popular television actress Falaq Naaz who has worked with them in the TV serial, Sasural Simar Ka. She even took it to her social media account to share a picture with them from the ceremony. Along with the picture, the stunning actress wrote a sweet caption for the soon-to-be-married couple, which read, “And the most happening function is here……..#dodilmilrahehain #shoaika #weddingbells #haldiceremony #mastibegins.”
Other than that, she has also shared a picture with the bride-to-be with yet another loving message that read, “She would No longer be a MISS but always a SIS!!!!!!!!”

Recently, Shoaib and Dipika’s dreamy pictures and videos from their pre-wedding photoshoot had been doing the rounds on the internet. The couple went out of the box and picked Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s superhit Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge as the theme of their photoshoot. In a video posted by Shoaib on his social media account, the two were seen running in the mustard fields and recreating the ‘Tujhe Dekha Toh Ye Jaana Sanam’ moment from the film.

As per reports, the wedding will happen according to the traditional Muslim customs on Monday. A source close to the couple revealed a leading daily, “Shoaib and Dipika, both wanted a very personalised affair. Being quite private people, they chose to have the ceremonies in Bhopal to avoid the constant media attention. Also, with Shoaib’s family residing there, it helped them in organising a grand yet a close-knit wedding. Only the closest of the friends have been invited but the rest would get to wish the newlyweds in a reception in Mumbai, the dates of which haven’t been fixed yet.”
