Now, what’s surprising is that it isn’t one-sided. When Gerard visited India and met the B-town chick Priyanka Chopra, he couldn’t resist himself from expressing his love for her. It has also been told that, when the stunning lady hosted a party for him, Gerard proposed marriage to her every half hour.
The ‘Happy Bhag Jaegi’ actor, Ali Fazal confessed in an interview with a leading portal that his childhood crush was Kajol. While making these revelations, he even sang a song from her film, ‘Sapnay (1997)- ‘Chanda Re Chanda Re’.
In an interview, when the stunning actress, Kalki Koechlin was asked to tell which of Bollywood Khans she’d like to star in a film with- Aamir, Salman or Shah Rukh, the actress went ahead to say that she’d love to work with all of them, but she had a soft corner for Badhshah. Richa Chadha, popularly known as the ‘Bholi Punjaban’, a character from her film ‘Fukrey’, has a major crush on the U-19 coach, Rahul Dravid. In an interview, talking about the ace cricketer, Richa had said, “He was so gentle yet strong. He’d done a campaign with a sporting company. I had those ads on my walls as posters”.
You’ll be surprised to know that our chirpy girl, Alia Bhatt too had a childhood crush on one of our popular Bollywood actors. And that actor is none other than the versatile actor, Shahid Kapoor. The ‘Highway’ actress literally grew up crushing over him and was lucky enough to even work with him in a film. Talking about him in an interview, Alia said, “It was a childhood crush. I was 10 when I saw Ishq Vishq and for an actor to be so good in those days meant a lot to an impressionable girl like me,”
It is only rare when a person gets to romance with his or her crush on-screen. Sonam Kapoor was one of those luckier ones who actually got to share the screen space with her longtime crush Salman Khan in her film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. While promoting her film at an event, the actress even mentioned that when she was just 4 years old she forced her father to take her to the theatres to watch his film, ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’.
