Karan Wahi criticises Pehredaar Piya Ki, Suyyash Rai has a fitting reply

A lot is going around the show Pehredaar Piya Ki, a new show on Sony TV that revolves around the marriage of a 9-year-old boy and a 18-year-old girl who actually acts as Pehredaar Piya ki (caretaker of her husband). Ever since the trailers of the show were on TV, everyone laughed off at the makers who came with such a concept. The show aired first on 17th July and we are still scratching our heads to know what exactly are we watching on TV, what made the makers come with something as bizarre as this and why they did they thought that a story like this would work.

A sequence on the show where little Ratan sa falls for Diya, the 18-year-old girl and follows her like crazy didn’t really make us laugh. It was really weird seeing a little kid clicking this girl for no reason. In no time, he proposes her for marriage and calls her Pari. As Ratan sa saves Diya from falling, we just feel like breaking the TV set. We really don’t know if the show makers gave a thought before shooting something like that.

Obviously it is incorrect to judge a show in mere two episodes, but anyhow they have left us stunned. We are actually not reacting to it yet but if we are asked to review it for the episodes aired till date, we will have to say that it was too strange for us. Still we are looking forward to know what made the makers show us a love sequence like this one. It is difficult to digest scenes where little Ratan is romancing Diya in full Bollywood style. Diya and Ratan sa will eventually get married but what post that? We will have to wait!

Meanwhile, we can witness kind of a rage for the show. TV actor Karan Wahi took to his Facebook account and shared his thoughts on the show.

Suyyash will be seen on the show as Kunwar Abhay Singh and he supported the show saying that it is too early to judge the show. He took to his Instagram handle and posted:

We will have to wait and see if what Suyyash says is really true. You guys let us know what you think about the show in the comments section below.
