WHY ONLY CRICKET? WHY NOT HOCKEY AND BADMINTION TOO?

Why in India only cricket is given much importance? Why are the other games ignored? In fact, our national game, Hockey, is not given proper attention. Then why can’t cricket be declared as the national game of India? The best example to all this was yesterday’s cricket match. People were disappointed at India’s defeat in the cricket match but no one praised our hockey players who made their way to the finals and Srikanth who won the Indonesia Open Super Series yesterday.

India lost they match by 180 runs from Pakistan. Wickets went down one after the another and disappointed the cricket fans. Despite the flawless performance of team India throughout the tournament, it still lacked somewhere. Pakistan won the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 after 25 years.

Followed by the cricket match, Hockey was the next in turn. The players played really well and made their way to the finals after defeating Pakistan by the score of 7-1 in Hockey World League, 2017. Every single member of the team gave a mesmerising performance.

Last but not the least comes the badminton, where Kidamdi Srikanth gave a wonderful performance. He won against Kazumasa Sakai and snatched the title of the winner of Indonesia Open Super Series.
