RCB beats Delhi by 10 runs to end their losing streak

It was a consolation win for RCB in the last league match of IPL at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi. RCB won the toss and opted to bat first. Finally Gayle showed some pwer hitting shots to score 48 off 28 balls; Kohli was also back in form scoring 58 off 45 balls. Down the order Jadhav and Sachin Baby added 12 runs each and Pawan Negi scored a quick 13 off 5 balls to take up the score to161/6 at the end of 20 overs.

Delhi came out to bat to chase the total but lost Sanju Samson early and could not make a comeback in the game as they kept on losing wickets after equal intervals. Shreyas Iyer and Nair tried to pull off the game but Nair was dismissed by Watson in the 6th over,at the end of powerplay scorecard read 42/2. Now Pant Joined Iyer to win the game for DD but again they were losing wickets in 12th over Harshal Patel picked up 2 wickets backto back picking up Iyer for 32 and Samuels for a duck. Affair of falling wickets continued and Delhi were all out for 151 at the end of 20 overs.

Harshal Patel was man of the match for turning arund the game for RCB.
