The last flight of Pakistan International Airlines’ (PIA) Mumabi to Karachi took off yesterday. 120 passengers from Pakistan boarded PK275, an Airbus 320 flight yesterday. PIA’s Delhi-Karachi flight is also on hold from yesterday. From today, only small version ATR aircraft will be operated between Delhi and Lahore.

PIA had operated on the route of Mumbai-Karachi and Delhi-Lahore since 1976, excluding the time period of Kargil war.

From the perspective of people from both India and Pakistan, it comes as a disappointment and trouble in business process and relationship maintenance. Abdul Shaikh, who had come in Mumbai from Karachi, was in trouble due to suspension of the flight. He seemed unaware that there were indirect ways to go back.
