HCL earned Rs. 2,475 crore in last quarter of 2016-17

India’s fourth largest software company HCL had registered a net profit of Rs. 2,475 crore in the January to March 2017 quarter. The firm reported 27% net growth for this last quarter of 2016-17 fiscal year, i.e, January-March 2017.

 The good news for the company and its stakeholders also means that it added more clients in the quarter and the company did focus on growth areas like digital clouding, security and internet of things. HCL’s total revenue now reached at Rs 12,053 crore.

Basking in the success and good performance, the board of directors has declared Rs. 6 interim dividend per equity share of Rs. 2 of the firm for the next fiscal year.

During this quarter of great profit, HCL did great works on 8 deals sealed in the same quarter.
