Rules & Regulation

  1. The competition is open to all photographers: amateurs and professionals.
  2. Anybody can submit any number of photographs. They must be accompanied by the coupon given below.
  3. Photographs should be in 12cm x 18cm (5” x 7”) size, in colour.
  4. Every photograph must have the tag in front/back mentioning: (1) Name and address of the entrant (2) Title (3) Location (4) Camera used.
  5. In the case of single person photographs, all photographs must be accompanied by a certificate by the entrant that he has obtained permission of the person photographed and in case any dispute arises, he will be responsible for any damage/loss caused to the publishers in this matter.
  6. A certificate that the photograph is entirely an original work and has not been published or utilised in any manner anywhere else previously must accompany every entry.
  7. In case of prize-winning entries, complete copyright in terms and rules will rest with the publishers of Alive.
  8. Alive magazine does not undertake any responsibility for any loss or damage to the photographs in transit or otherwise.
  9. Proper sized, stamped and self-addressed envelope must accompany the entries for the return of unaccepted photographs; otherwise they will not be returned.
  10. In case of any dispute, Delhi Courts only will have the jurisdiction in this matter.
