MCD Elections : Counting will begin tomorrow under

Delhi Municipal corporation results will be declared on 26th April. The votes will be counted in 35 centres across the Capital. EVM have already been kept safe and secured at these counting centres. 16 centres are in North Delhi, 13 in south Delhi and 6 in east Delhi. According to chief secretary of Delhi, SK Srivastava voting turnout in Delhi on Sunday was 54%.

The main competition is between AAP, BJP and Congress where most of the polls are giving majority to BJP. The choice of the people will come out tomorrow. The counting will begin at 8am tomorrow on 272 wards and results will be out at 5pm in the evening although we will get a clear picture by noon. The updates from the counting station will be forwarded to Delhi State election Commission which is located near Kashmere Gate large screens installed outside will display the updates to media to be forwarded to people. There are over 90,000 security forces including Delhi Police, Paramilitary Forces and home guards who will keep their eye on different centres. Wednesday will remain a dry day.
