At the trailer launch, Karan Johar was questioned about Nepotism. As the movie actress Janhvi
Kapoor is the daughter of late actress Sridevi and producer Mr Boney Kapoor, the director was again asked about the same topic.
Karan Johar replied with an answer, “Log yahan us shabad (nepotism) ke wajah se nahi hai, apne mehnat karke aaye hai “(People in the film industry are not because of Nepotism, they are because of their hard work ).”
