Cellulite is something that 85% of women have. It is minor but can make you feel conscious about your appearance, it is the fat stored under the skin surface that makes your skin looks dimpled, flabby or lumpy. It can be usually seen on thighs, hips and stomach and is mostly found in women.



But you would be amazed to know that you can easily reduce it at home without the help of expensive and risky treatments like laser and radio frequency treatment and we have brought you some tips to reduce it that you can do at home. Let’s begin:


  1. Tomato

Tomatoes are rich in lycopene, which is great in breaking down the collagen in the skin, which basically helps your skin to tighten up. So, when it comes to tomatoes it can prove to be beneficial in the reduction of your cellulite. All you need to do is smash 2-3 tomatoes with 1-2 tsp of lemon juice, you may also use tomato paste but avoid using the canned ones. Apply the mix to the affected areas for 15 minutes and wash off, repeat it daily for better results.


  1. Dry Brushing with coconut oil

It is a very common practice used widely by women with cellulite, the process is really simple and effective. It tightens the epidermis and reduces the fat deposit in your body, coconut oil is very useful for the reduction of cellulite especially on your thighs. It is also good for your lymphatic system!


  1. Apple Cider Vinegar


Hormonal imbalance is another reason for the growth of cellulite and Apple Cider Vinegar is a great remedy to reduce it. You can either drink it or apply it. For the application, you need to mix Apple Cider Vinegar with 2 parts of water and a bit of honey, and rub it on the affected area and then rinse it or you can drink 2 tablespoons of it with 8 ounces of water, whichever suits you!


  1. Tangerine oil

Tangerine oil works well in breaking down the fat pockets in your skin as well as helps in blood circulation too. It also works as a detox. Just like Apple Cider Vinegar, you can either drink this or apply it.

You may take a glass of warm water with few drops of this oil and drink it daily or you can mix 5 drops of tangerine oil with one spoon of olive oil and massage it on the affected area. Avoid going out for about an hour after the application!


  1. Water


Hydration is the key for the betterment of your overall health. Keep yourself hydrated and the water will make your skin texture glow and smooth. Try consuming food with high water content such as cucumbers, watermelons or green leafy vegetables. Not only are they higher in water content but also low on calories eventually helping you to shed a few pounds and breaking down your fat pockets.
