Aditi Rao Hydari slams twitterati for calling her a victim of “Love Jihad”

Our very talented actress, Aditi Rao Hydari, who is prepping up for the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next epic period drama, Padmavati, recently came out in support of director after controversies surrounded the release of the film.

The “Bhoomi” actress took it to her twitter account to extend her support to SLB and said, “An Indian and an artist we should be proud of… He celebrates our stories, our culture our music. Despite every trial by fire that we put him through… we love you #SanjayLeelaBhansali more power to you ?❤ #WeSupportPadmavati @FilmPadmavati”

And while everything seemed to be going fine, a Twitter user decided to pass a nasty remark against the actress. he wrote, ” “Hydari” word tells a lot about you. You must be a brainwashed love jihadi victim. Ask your mullah if he accept a movie on mohammad? Sermons on others but bloodshed even on cartoons?”

And as soon as Aditi posted this on twitter, the comment section of her tweet started flooding. While some of the Twitter users chose to extend support to her, there were others who started making hate comments.  Amongst the later ones, was a user who crossed all his limits and passed a disgusting remark against the actress. He wrote, ” “Hydari” word tells a lot about you. You must be a brainwashed love jihadi victim. Ask your mullah if he accept a movie on mohammad? Sermons on others but bloodshed even on cartoons?”

When Aditi saw his comment, she didn’t take it long to shut him down. She gave a befitting reply to him that read, “It’s not about religions or cultures or language or geography or gender… it’s about small minded people who create hate and devide… and we can all choose not to be those people regardless of our names… #PeaceOut”

Well, this reply of hers definitely proves that she’s a slay queen.

Earlier, speaking about the film in an interview with an esteemed daily, Aditi had said, “There is no fear and one shouldn’t be scared either because I think this is a democratic country and everybody should be allowed to make films they want to make. We should be proud of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He is a great filmmaker (but) instead of being proud of him, we are forcing him to defend himself and his film. I think that is very sad.”

In support of her upcoming film, she also said, “We are so lucky to have such amazing artists in our country. We should value them and give them the space to create the amazing work that they create instead of making it so difficult for them. We put them through so much and we try to oppress them despite that, they are so amazing and passionate. They continue to make these films and art that they are so passionate about. I think we should support them.”

Apart from Aditi, eminent personalities like Salman Khan, Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar, Javed Akhtar, Rich Chadha and many more from the Bollywood fraternity came in support of Bhansali’s magnum opus.
